Helio G90T We compared two 8-core processors: Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (with Adreno 630 graphics) and MediaTek Helio G90T (Mali-G76MC4). Here you will find the pros and cons of each chip, technical specs, and comprehensive tests in benchmarks, like AnTuTu and Geekbench.
MediaTek has recently launched the latest processor of its G series which is the Helio G95. It is the successor of the Helio G90T processor which the company launched back in January 2019. The company has made some minor improvements to the new Helio G95 processor. Both the processors are gaming chipsets with powerful CPU and GPU units. The Helio G95 SoC is packed on Realme 7 smartphone whereas its predecessor, the Helio G90T is housed in Redmi Note 8 Pro, Realme 6, and Realme 6i. The Helio G95 processor has proved itself to be a great competitor to the recently launched Snapdragon 732G SoC. In this article, we have made a detailed comparison of the Helio G95 to the Helio G90T processor.
Helio G95 vs Helio G90T Comparison
Manufacturing process
The Helio G95 chip is fabricated with 12nm TSMC process technology. Similarly, the Helio G90T is also made with the 12nm TSMC process technology. Since both the processors are made with the same manufacturing process hence both will be equally efficient.
CPU
Both the processors are octa-cores with two cores of ARM Cortex- A76 clocked at 2.05GHz and six cores of ARM Cortex-A55 clocked at 2GHz. Though the two processors have the same CPU cores and clocked speed yet the company has claimed that the Helio G95 will be 5% more efficient and powerful than the Helio G90T. Therefore, in terms of performance and gaming, the Helio G95 processor gets the point.
GPU
Both the processors are built with the ARM Mali G-76 MC4 GPU unit. The main difference lies in the maximum frequency of the two processors. The Helio G95 is tuned at a maximum frequency of 900 MHz while the Helio G90T shows a maximum frequency of 800 MHz. Helio G95 offers 8% better GPU than G90T in Manhattan 3.0 benchmark test. Hence, the Helio G95 will have higher graphics rendering speed and improved graphics quality than the G90T. This could be a major difference for users to choose the G95 over the G90T.
Camera and Display
In terms of Camera unit, the Helio G95, and Helio G90T has 24MP+16MP, 48MP, 64MP setup. The 64MP sensor capture images at 22.5fps, the 48MP sensor capture photos at 30fps and 24MP + 16MP captures images at 30fps. The camera sensors of both the processors also support video playback in 4K 30fps, FHD 120fps, and HD 240fps. Talking about the display unit, the Helio G95 and Helio G90T has exactly similar display features. Both the chip supports Full HD+ display up to 2520 X 1080 pixels. The display refresh rate is 90Hz.
Connectivity
Both the Helio G95 and G90T have Cat-12 4G LTE WorldMode modem that comes with multiple connectivity features such as 3x CA and 4×4 MIMO and 256QAM. It also packs advanced IMS (VoLTE/ ViLTE/ VoWi-Fi) which is supported by over 175 cellular operators worldwide.
Benchmark
Cs go mods download for pc. Talking about the AnTuTu test report, Helio G90T powered Realme 6 has achieved around 2,91,216 points. On the other hand, Helio G95 powered Realme 7 has managed to score 3,02,716 points. So, we see that Helio G95 has over 3.9% overall performance advantage compared to its predecessor G90T.
